Arrive at Cochin International Airport or the railway station, where you will be met and transferred to the hotel. After check-in and some time to rest, begin an introduction to a city whose identity developed through centuries of maritime trade and contact with merchants from different parts of the world.

Proceed towards Fort Kochi and visit St. Francis Church, one of the area's important colonial-era landmarks. Continue towards the waterfront to see the traditional Chinese Fishing Nets, whose distinctive cantilevered structures remain closely associated with Kochi's harbour landscape.

Depending on the arrival time, continue towards Mattancherry and walk through Jew Town. After breakfast, spend some time experiencing the rural surroundings of Pathanamthitta. Depending on the confirmed accommodation and locally available arrangements, this may include a village or plantation-oriented experience, providing an opportunity to see agricultural life and the natural landscape away from Kerala's larger tourist centres.

Continue south towards Kovalam. The road passes through the increasingly populated parts of southern Kerala before approaching the Arabian Sea coastline. This transfer brings another clear change in landscape, moving from inland villages and plantation country to one of Kerala's established coastal destinations.

On arrival, check into the hotel or resort and later visit Lighthouse Beach, overlooked by the prominent Vizhinjam Lighthouse. Access to the lighthouse is subject to official opening schedules. After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day around Kovalam. Begin with time at Lighthouse Beach, where the curved shoreline, rocky headlands and lighthouse form the area's most recognisable coastal setting. Continue towards Hawa Beach (Eve's Beach) and explore other suitable sections of the waterfront.

Later, visit Samudra Beach, which provides another perspective on Kovalam's coastline. Rather than filling the day with distant excursions, the schedule allows sufficient time to enjoy the sea after the road journeys, wildlife landscapes and rural experiences of the preceding days.

Keep the afternoon free for relaxation at the hotel or beside the Arabian Sea. Swimming should only be considered when local sea conditions are suitable and safety guidance permits it.
