Day 1: Cochin Arrival
Upon your cochin arrival you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will assist you in your hotel check-ins. Relax there for a while. You can spend the rest of the day at discretion exploring the major attractions of the city along with interacting with locals. Overnight stay in Cochin
Day 2: Cochin- Boarding Vrinda
The following day after your breakfast, you will be proceed for your hotel check-outs and thereafter you will be transferred to Vembanad Lake jetty to board the vessel at around 1 in the afternoon. After aboardment of all guest, the cruise will start sailing on the pristine sea waters of Vembanad lake where gradually it will lead to Alleppey Canal. Enjoy the panorama views along with sumptuous lunch on board. Enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings along with sighting the ethereality of the surroundings nearby. In the evening enjoy the cultural performance which includes the Kathakali dance performance portraying the legends of two hindu epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata. Overnight stay on board.
Day 3: On board Vrinda including a rice boat expedition
The following morning commences with the toothsome breakfast and the delightful sights while cruise is leading towards alleppey through the canal entering Pamba river. Enjoy the charms of the route where you will be raptured by the bird watching, sighting colorful birds, catching the insight sof locals and their lifestyle, the coconut groves and more. The cruise will be anchored at Kanjippadom. Indulge in the rice boat expedition by going aboard the the traditional houseboat, Kettuvallam which will lead through narrow backwater areas. Visit Nalukettu, the traditional Kerala Family House along with exploring the half statue of Lord Buddha at Karumadi.
Thereafter you will be boarding the cruise for lunch while it steers through the backwater, returning back to Alleppey. Overnight stay On board.
Day 4: On board Vrinda including Kettuvallam excursion
The following day, the cruise will be leading for South and will be anchored at Chambakulam. Proceed for your sightseeing accompanied by a tour guide while riding the rice boat. Explore several attractions like the St. Mary’s Church which was founded in 1721 by St. Thomas, the century old temple of Shree Bhagavathy Kshetram in Nedumudy. Other attractions are traditional long snake boats which can be sighted while a visit to Chambakulam snake Boat Yard. Thereafter return back to vessel while it is cruising over backwaters. In the evening enjoy the “Mohiniyattam”recital that narrates well about the opulence and charms of traditional costumes. Overnight stay On board.
Day 5: Cochin departure
The following day is the last day of the tour where after breakfast, you will be transferred to Cochin airport for boarding the flight for the onward journey.
